Pedro Camejo

FOUNDER & CEO

Pedro Camejo, the founder and CEO of CAM Group leads this niche Miami based Investment company. Pedro is a recognized leader in property evaluation and acquisition, deal structure, design and construction development industry with over 20 years of experience in multiple multi-million dollar projects. Project diversity ranges from multi family apartments, medical office building to national single tenants asset classes. Initially Pedro developed his career in single family ground up development and home renovations. Pedro’s ongoing efforts includes the development of 750,000+ sq feet of medical, retail and mixed-use spaces, as well as over 300,000 sq feet of multi family. Pedro’s public relations have allowed for him to accomplish significant development projects including the designed and completion of two state of the art charter schools providing a meaningful contribution to the local community. Pedro is a passionate innovator that has experience in navigating through market trends and the political nuances which remain true through deeply rooted local ties, bankers and broker relationships. He takes pride in his thorough comprehension of each project. Pedro understands the importance of building meaningful, functional and profitable developments for his partners.

JULIO CABRERA

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER`

Julio Cabrera, a seasoned construction and development expert of 45 years, is responsible for all phases of construction and land development at CAM Group. Mr. Cabrera’s experience is invaluable to the completion of our company goals, as he has served in 7 various chief management positions within the real estate industry. As the Director of Constructions at Shoma Group, Mr. Cabrera was entrusted with many successful multimillion dollar projects in South Florida. His specialties lie in developing and executing bids, developing detailed project schedules, execution on a tight timeline, project budgeting, team management and contract negotiation. Mr. Cabrera has proven to be an asset to our team as he exhibits the impeccable ability to approach projects from every angle, simultaneously with a wide and narrow lens, making CAM group capable of top-of-the-line transformation.

DONALD j. KIPNIS

FOUNDER AND CEO, DSS ADVISOR

Donald Kipnis is the Founder and CEO of Development Service Solutions (“DSS”) and DSS Condo. Over the past 40 years Mr. Kipnis has established himself as an innovator and leader in the construction industry.

Mr. Kipnis top of his graduating class in Construction Program at the University of Florida, and was also the President of the Building Construction Honor Society at his Alma Mater. After graduation, he obtained his General Contractor’s license, which he maintains to this day.

Mr. Kipnis is a no-nonsense, determined leader, and a pragmatic builder; he applies a visionary approach to every project. Before founding DSS and DSS Condo, Mr. Kipnis was the CEO of Miller & Solomon General Contractors (“Miller & Solomon”). During Mr. Kipnis’ tenure as CEO, he successfully grew the business from $12 million to $175 million, expanded the employee base from twenty to more than two hundred, and established the Miller & Solomon name throughout Florida as a symbol for integrity, quality, and timeliness.

Mr. Kipnis’ “No Excuses” credo, his extraordinary problem solving ability, and his business acumen later led him to become a Executive Vice President of Construction for the Trump Group. During his tenure as VP of Construction, Mr. Kipnis supervised the design and construction of Luxuria in Boca Raton, Acqualina II in Sunny Isles Beach, and Acqualina I Resort Tower, where he completed a remarkable feat of construction. Mr. Kipnis remediated wide spread water damage for Acqualina I Tower while the building was under construction, and he supported the negotiations of a favorable settlement with the builder’s risk and insurance carriers avoiding costly and time-consuming litigation.

Today, Mr. Kipnis brings all of his forty years of experience and his team through DSS and DSS Condo. Mr. Kipnis’ ability to simplify, direct, and successfully complete the most complicated projects on time and on-budget serve as a source of comfort for his clients. This makes Mr. Kipnis a precious commodity serving the development industry.

CHARLO JENKINS

ADVISOR

Mr. Jenkins is a seasoned project manager with a military background and an impressive track record of success in the fields of construction management, and real estate development. He holds a MS in Real Estate Development and Urbanism from the University of Miami School of Architecture. Prior to joining DSS, Charlo worked as a project manager for Bazbaz Development, where he worked to entitle, permit and bid a 242 unit luxury multifamily/hotel building in the trendy neighborhood of Wynwood. In this role, he was directly responsible for coordinating architects, engineers, design consultants, contractors and all other professionals involved with each project. He was also involved in underwriting and sourcing new deals in the Miami market. Earlier in his career, Charlo was a Senior Investment Analyst for Advenir Real Estate Investment Company, where he sourced, screened and underwrote the acquisition of over 4,200 multifamily units worth more than $550 million. He also worked as a project manager for Smoot Construction in Columbus, Ohio, where he supervised multiple lump sum and construction management projects. Charlo proudly served in the U.S. Navy where he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for leadership and training during “Operation Enduring Freedom.”
